Notice the timing: Christ didn't die for us when we got our lives together. He died while we were still powerless and ungodly. He didn't wait for us to clean up; He came into the mess. That's not just love; that's reckless, relentless, unhidden grace.
Prayer
Jesus, You died for me at my worst, not my best. That truth humbles me every time I really sit with it. Thank You for not waiting until I was ready, because I never would have been ready on my own.
