Coming Home
Mark 15:37-38 (WEB)
“Jesus cried out with a loud voice, and gave up the spirit. The veil of the temple was torn in two from the top to the bottom.”
Reflection
Good Friday, the darkest day became the doorway home. When Jesus breathed His last, the curtain that separated humanity from God's presence was ripped from top to bottom. Not from bottom to top by human hands, but from top to bottom by God Himself. He tore down every barrier between you and Him so you could come home.
Prayer
Jesus, on this Good Friday I stand in awe of what You endured for me. You died so the curtain would tear, so nothing would stand between me and the Father. Your sacrifice is the reason I can come home.
