Philippians 2:6-8 (WEB)
“who, existing in the form of God, didn't consider equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being made in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, he humbled himself, becoming obedient to the point of death, yes, the death of the cross.”
Reflection
The King of the universe made Himself nothing. He went from a throne to a manger, from glory to servanthood, from heaven to a cross. That's not weakness; it's the most powerful display of love and humility the world has ever seen. If Jesus could humble Himself like that, what excuse do we have?
Prayer
King Jesus, You gave up everything, equality with God, heavenly glory, divine comfort, all for me. Your humility convicts and inspires me. Teach me to follow Your example and to serve without needing a throne.
