Salvation & Grace

1 Timothy 1:15 (WEB)

The saying is faithful and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief.

Reflection

Paul didn't mince words: Christ came to save sinners. Not to save the already-good, the mostly-righteous, or the people who have it figured out. Sinners. That includes every single one of us, and that's the beauty of the gospel: no entry requirements except honest need.

Prayer

Christ Jesus, I don't come to You with a polished resume. I come as a sinner who needs a Savior, and You welcome me anyway. That kind of grace wrecks me in the best possible way. Thank You for coming for people like me.
