Love & Serving Others
Matthew 5:44 (WEB)
“But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you,”
Reflection
This might be the hardest command in all of Scripture. Loving people who hurt us, praying for people who work against us. It defies human logic. But this is where our faith becomes most visible. When we love our enemies, we prove that something supernatural is at work inside us.
Prayer
Jesus, I'm honest with You: this one is hard. But I trust that You wouldn't ask me to do something without giving me the strength to do it. Soften my heart toward the people who have hurt me, and help me pray for them sincerely.
