The blessed hope isn't a wish or a maybe. It's the guaranteed return of Jesus Christ in glory. Every day you live is one day closer to that moment. Living with this hope doesn't make you detached from the world; it makes you more engaged, knowing that everything you do matters in light of eternity.
Prayer
Jesus, I'm waiting for You. The blessed hope of Your return gives me purpose and urgency today. Help me live fully engaged in this world while keeping my eyes on the glory that's coming.
