Hope & Perseverance

Psalm 119:81 (WEB)

My soul faints for your salvation. I hope in your word.

Reflection

Longing and hope can coexist. You can ache for breakthrough while still trusting God's Word completely. The fainting soul and the hopeful heart aren't contradictions. They're the honest reality of living by faith in a broken world. Hold onto His Word even when your soul is weary with waiting.

Prayer

Lord, my soul is longing and my patience is stretching thin. But I have put my hope in Your Word, and I'm not letting go. Sustain me in the tension between longing and trust.
