The Word of God
Psalm 119:50 (WEB)
“This is my comfort in my affliction, for your word has revived me.”
Reflection
When suffering hits, people look everywhere for comfort: food, entertainment, isolation. But the psalmist found something that actually worked: God's promise. His promises don't just make you feel better temporarily; they preserve your life. They hold you together when everything else falls apart.
Prayer
Father, in my suffering, be my comfort. Not a distraction, not a numbing agent, but real comfort rooted in Your promises. Your Word preserves me when nothing else can.
