The Word of God

Jeremiah 15:16 (WEB)

Your words were found, and I ate them. Your words were to me a joy and the rejoicing of my heart, for I am called by your name, Yahweh, God of Armies.

Reflection

Jeremiah didn't just read God's words. He consumed them. They became part of him, inseparable from his identity. When you bear the name of God, His Word should be your greatest delight. Let Scripture become so much a part of you that people can taste it in your words and see it in your actions.

Prayer

Lord God Almighty, I bear Your name and I want to consume Your Word like Jeremiah did. Make it my joy, my delight, and the fuel that drives everything I say and do.
