The Word of God

1 Peter 1:23 (WEB)

having been born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, through the word of God, which lives and remains forever.

Reflection

Your new life in Christ didn't come from anything that can rot, rust, or expire. It came through the imperishable Word of God. That means the foundation of your identity is permanent, living, and enduring. You were born again through something that will never die, and neither will you.

Prayer

Lord, remind me today that my new life was born from something imperishable. The living Word that saved me is the same Word that sustains me. I am built on something that will never end.
