Coming Home

Isaiah 55:7 (WEB)

Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts. Let him return to Yahweh, and he will have mercy on him; and to our God, for he will freely pardon.

Reflection

Freely. Not grudgingly, not conditionally, not after you prove yourself, freely. God's pardon doesn't come with strings attached. All He asks is that you turn. Let go of the old and face the new. His mercy is already waiting.

Prayer

God, I let go of the things I've been holding onto that pull me away from You. Thank You for pardoning me freely, not because I earned it, but because that's who You are. I turn to You today with my whole heart.
