Joy and willingness, that's what David asked for, and it's what we need too. Sometimes faith feels like obligation rather than celebration. When the joy fades, it's okay to ask God to bring it back. He loves that kind of honest prayer.
Prayer
Lord, somewhere along the way I lost the joy. I don't want to just go through the motions anymore. Restore the excitement I once had and give me a willing spirit that actually wants to follow You.
