Luke 13:24-25 (WEB)
“Strive to enter in by the narrow door, for many, I tell you, will seek to enter in and will not be able. When once the master of the house has risen up and has shut the door, and you begin to stand outside and to knock at the door, saying, 'Lord, Lord, open to us!' then he will answer and tell you, 'I don't know you or where you come from.'”
Reflection
The narrow door requires effort and intentionality; it's not the path of least resistance. Many people assume they'll get around to it eventually, but Jesus warns that the window won't stay open forever. Make every effort today, not tomorrow, to walk closely with Christ.
Prayer
Lord, I don't want to be casual about my faith. Give me the urgency to make every effort to follow You through the narrow door while it's still open.
