“For he is our God. We are the people of his pasture, and the sheep in his care. Today, oh that you would hear his voice! Don't harden your heart, as at Meribah, as in the day of Massah in the wilderness,”
Reflection
The word "today" appears in Scripture over and over for a reason. God is a right-now God. He's speaking today, moving today, calling today. The danger isn't that He'll stop speaking; it's that your heart will grow too hard to hear Him. Stay soft and stay responsive.
Prayer
God, I want to hear Your voice today. Keep my heart soft and responsive to whatever You're saying, even when it's uncomfortable or inconvenient.
