“I must work the works of him who sent me while it is day. The night is coming, when no one can work.”
Reflection
Jesus lived with urgency, and He calls you to do the same. "As long as it is day" means right now, while you have the ability, the breath, and the opportunity. Night is coming, a time when the chance to make a difference will have passed. Work while you can.
Prayer
Jesus, give me Your sense of urgency. I don't want to squander the daylight. Show me the work You've assigned to me and help me do it with everything I have.
