“even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and without defect before him in love; having predestined us for adoption as children through Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his desire,”
Reflection
Before the first star was flung into the sky, God had already chosen you. This wasn't a last-minute decision or a backup plan. You were loved from before the foundation of the world. Let that sink in today: you are wanted, chosen, and adopted into an eternal family.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, the idea that You chose me before creation is almost too big to grasp. Let that truth settle deep in my heart and drive out every lie that says I'm unwanted.
