Identity in Christ
Romans 8:16-17 (WEB)
“The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God; and if children, then heirs: heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with him, that we may also be glorified with him.”
Reflection
Think about what it means to be an heir. Everything the Father has belongs to you through Christ. His peace, His power, His presence: it's all part of your inheritance. You don't have to live like a spiritual orphan when you have a seat at the King's table.
Prayer
Holy Spirit, testify to my heart right now that I am a child of God. Help me live today not as someone begging for scraps, but as an heir walking in the fullness of my inheritance.
