Salvation & Grace

2 Corinthians 8:9 (WEB)

For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that you through his poverty might become rich.

Reflection

Jesus was rich in every way, glory, honor, power, worship, and He willingly became poor so that we could become spiritually rich. That exchange is the heart of grace. He took our poverty and gave us His wealth. No financial transaction in history comes close.

Prayer

Lord Jesus, the exchange You made is staggering. You became poor so I could be rich, not in money, but in grace, hope, purpose, and eternal life. I receive that abundance today and refuse to live as though I'm spiritually bankrupt.
