Salvation & Grace
Luke 2:10-11 (WEB)
“The angel said to them, 'Don't be afraid, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy which will be to all the people. For there is born to you today, in David's city, a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.'”
Reflection
The greatest announcement in history wasn't made in a palace or a press room. It was made in a field to a group of shepherds. God chose the overlooked, the ordinary, the working class to hear the news first. No one is too small or too insignificant for God's good news.
Prayer
Lord, the good news of Jesus is still the best news I've ever heard. Fill me with that same great joy the shepherds felt. And like them, let me not keep it to myself. Let me go and tell everyone.
