Psalm 89:1-2 (WEB)
“I will sing of the loving kindness of Yahweh forever. With my mouth, I will make known your faithfulness to all generations. I indeed declare, "Love stands firm forever. You established the heavens. Your faithfulness is in them."”
Reflection
The psalmist made a declaration: I will sing, I will make known, I will declare. Gratitude and praise are choices we make, not feelings we wait for. Choosing to speak about God's love and faithfulness, even before we feel like it, is an act of bold, unhidden faith.
Prayer
Lord, I make this same declaration today. I will sing of Your love. I will make Your faithfulness known. Whether I feel like it or not, I choose to declare Your goodness to everyone within earshot.
