“In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you.”
Reflection
Notice it says "in" all circumstances, not "for" all circumstances. You don't have to be thankful for the pain, but you can be thankful in it, because God is still present, still working, still faithful. Gratitude in hard seasons is one of the most powerful, unhidden things a believer can do.
Prayer
God, teach me to give thanks even when my circumstances don't feel thankful. Help me find Your goodness in every season, and let my gratitude be a testimony to those who are watching.
