Deuteronomy 7:9 (WEB)
“Know therefore that Yahweh your God himself is God, the faithful God, who keeps covenant and loving kindness to a thousand generations with those who love him and keep his commandments.”
Reflection
A thousand generations. That's how far God's faithfulness stretches. His promises didn't start with you and they won't end with you, but they absolutely include you. Living unhidden means trusting a God whose track record of faithfulness spans all of human history.
Prayer
Faithful God, I stand on thousands of years of Your proven promises. Help me remember that I'm part of a much bigger story, and give me confidence in a covenant that has never been broken.
