“Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don't forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from destruction, who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies, who satisfies your desire with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.”
Reflection
David had to remind his own soul to remember God's benefits. We need that same reminder because our memories are short and our problems feel loud. Take a moment to list what God has done: forgiven, healed, redeemed, crowned, satisfied. That list should take our breath away.
Prayer
My soul, praise the Lord! God, I confess I forget too quickly. Today I choose to remember: Your forgiveness, Your healing, Your redemption, Your love. Renew my strength and my gratitude like the eagle's.
