Love & Serving Others
Mark 12:30-31 (WEB)
“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength. This is the first commandment. The second is like this: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
Reflection
Everything starts with loving God completely: heart, soul, mind, and strength. When that vertical relationship is right, the horizontal one follows naturally. Loving our neighbor as ourselves isn't optional; it's the overflow of a life fully devoted to God and fully unhidden before the world.
Prayer
Lord, I want to love You with everything I have, not just the convenient parts. Help me see my neighbors through Your eyes today, and give me the courage to love them well, even when it costs me something.
