Love & Serving Others

1 Corinthians 13:4-7 (WEB)

Love is patient and is kind. Love doesn't envy. Love doesn't brag, is not proud, doesn't behave itself inappropriately, doesn't seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil; doesn't rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things.

Reflection

Reading this passage is like holding up a mirror. Every description here challenges us to check our own hearts. Are we patient when it's inconvenient, kind when no one is looking, and quick to forgive? As believers living unhidden, our love should look noticeably different from what the world offers.

Prayer

God, I fall short of this kind of love on my own. Shape my heart to be patient when I want to rush, kind when I want to snap, and forgiving when I want to hold a grudge. Make Your love real through me today.
