Reflection
Unswervingly. That means no wavering, no drifting, no letting go when the pressure increases. The reason you can hold on that tightly is because your hope rests on someone who is faithful. You're not white-knuckling your own optimism; you're gripping the promises of a God who has never broken one.
Prayer
Lord, give me an unswervable grip on hope today. When doubt tries to pry my fingers loose, remind me of Your faithfulness. You have never broken a promise, and You won't start now.
