The Word of God
Psalm 1:1-3 (WEB)
“Blessed is the man who doesn't walk in the counsel of the wicked, nor stand on the path of sinners, nor sit in the seat of scoffers; but his delight is in Yahweh's law. On his law he meditates day and night. He will be like a tree planted by the streams of water, that produces its fruit in its season, whose leaf also does not wither. Whatever he does shall prosper.”
Reflection
A tree planted by streams of water doesn't panic during a drought. Its roots reach the water no matter what happens on the surface. When your life is rooted in God's Word, you develop that kind of resilience. Seasons change, storms come, but you stay nourished from a source that never dries up.
Prayer
God, plant me deep beside the streams of Your Word. I want roots that reach Your truth even when the surface of my life feels dry. Make me fruitful in every season.
