Reflection
You can plan all you want, and planning is wise, but God's purpose is the one that wins. That's not a threat; that's a comfort. Your plans might be good, but His are perfect. Hold your goals with open hands and trust that His purposes are working even when yours fall through.
Prayer
God, I hold my plans loosely and Your purposes tightly. When my agenda clashes with Yours, let Yours win every time. I trust that what prevails from Your hand is always better than what I had in mind.
