“"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, and your ways are not my ways," says Yahweh. "For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts."”
Reflection
When God's plan doesn't match yours, it's not because He got it wrong. His ways are higher, astronomically higher. The gap between your thoughts and His is the gap between earth and sky. Let that humble you and comfort you at the same time.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, when I don't understand Your ways, help me remember they are higher than mine. I don't need to understand everything; I just need to trust the One whose thoughts dwarf my own.
