“I have come as a light into the world, that whoever believes in me may not remain in the darkness.”
Reflection
Jesus came so you wouldn't have to stay stuck. Darkness might be familiar, even comfortable, but it's not where you belong. He entered the world specifically so that believers would have a way out of the dark. You don't have to stay there.
Prayer
Jesus, You came as light so I wouldn't have to stay in darkness. Pull me out of any dark place I've grown comfortable in, and set my feet firmly in Your light.
