Light in the Darkness
John 3:19-20 (WEB)
“This is the judgment, that the light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the light, for their works were evil. For everyone who does evil hates the light and doesn't come to the light, lest his works would be exposed.”
Reflection
Choosing darkness over light is always a choice rooted in what we want to protect. Stepping into the light means letting go of what doesn't belong. It takes courage to prefer the light, but that's the unhidden life: choosing truth even when shadows feel safer.
Prayer
Jesus, I choose light over darkness today, even when the shadows feel more comfortable. Expose anything in me that prefers hiding over honesty. I want to live in the light, no matter the cost.
