Coming Home
Psalm 32:5 (WEB)
“I acknowledged my sin to you. I didn't hide my iniquity. I said, I will confess my transgressions to Yahweh, and you forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah.”
Reflection
Covering up is exhausting. Pretending takes more energy than confessing ever will. When David finally stopped hiding and started being honest, forgiveness came immediately. Living unhidden before God means letting go of the mask, and discovering that freedom was on the other side all along.
Prayer
God, I'm done covering up. I acknowledge what I've done, and I lay it at Your feet. Thank You that forgiveness isn't something I have to wait for, it's already here the moment I'm honest with You.
