“Death, where is your sting? Hades, where is your victory? The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
Reflection
The day after Easter, and the victory is still ringing. Death had its moment on Friday. Silence had its moment on Saturday. But Sunday changed everything, and Monday morning, the victory is still yours. Sin lost its power. Death lost its sting. You are on the winning side, and nothing can reverse what the empty tomb accomplished.
Prayer
God, thanks be to You! You gave us the victory through Jesus Christ. Death has no hold on me, sin has no claim on me, and fear has no authority over me. I walk in resurrection power today and every day.
