Reflection
Following Jesus was never advertised as the easy road. Paul wrote this from a prison cell, yet his message was clear: don't be ashamed, even when it costs you. The power of God is most visible when you're willing to stand up for Him in the hard moments.
Prayer
Lord, give me the kind of faith that doesn't flinch when the cost is high. I choose to stand with You, even when standing means suffering, because Your power is made perfect in my weakness.
