“who in time past were no people, but now are God's people, who had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.”
Reflection
Your "before" and "after" in Christ are dramatically different. Once you were on the outside, but now you belong. Once mercy seemed out of reach, but now it's your daily reality. Never forget where you came from, because it makes where you are now even more extraordinary.
Prayer
God, I was once far from You, but Your mercy changed everything. Keep that gratitude fresh in my heart so I never take for granted the belonging I have in You.
