Identity in Christ
Romans 9:25-26 (WEB)
“As he says also in Hosea, "I will call them 'my people,' which were not my people; and her 'beloved,' who was not beloved." "It will be that in the place where it was said to them, 'You are not my people,' there they will be called 'children of the living God.'"”
Reflection
God has a habit of calling things into existence that don't yet appear. He looked at outsiders and called them family. He looked at the unloved and called them beloved. Whatever label the world has given you, God is speaking a new name over your life right now.
Prayer
Lord, You called me Yours when I had no claim to that name. Thank You for rewriting my story and giving me a new identity in Your family.
