2 Corinthians 4:16-17 (WEB)
“Therefore we don't faint, but though our outward person is decaying, yet our inward person is renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is for the moment, works for us more and more exceedingly an eternal weight of glory,”
Reflection
The outside might be wearing down, but the inside is being rebuilt daily. That's the paradox of the Christian life: external decline and internal renewal happening at the same time. Your troubles feel heavy, but measured against eternity, they're light and momentary. Keep going; glory is being achieved through your endurance.
Prayer
God, renew me inwardly today even as the external pressures mount. Don't let me lose heart. Help me hold onto the eternal perspective that turns heavy troubles into light and momentary ones.
