Strength in Weakness
Matthew 11:28-30 (WEB)
“Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”
Reflection
Jesus doesn't say "Come to me once you've cleaned up your mess." He says come as you are: weary, burdened, barely hanging on. His invitation isn't conditional. Walk with Him today and discover that what He asks of you is lighter than what you've been carrying alone.
Prayer
Jesus, I accept Your invitation. I'm laying down the weight I was never meant to carry. Teach me to walk in step with You instead of sprinting on my own.
