Light in the Darkness

Luke 11:33 (WEB)

No one, when he has lit a lamp, puts it in a cellar or under a basket, but on a stand, that those who come in may see the light.

Reflection

Hiding your light is illogical, like buying a lamp and sticking it in a closet. God lit you up for a reason: so that others can see. Your faith is meant to be visible, accessible, and helpful to the people who walk into your life. Put it on the stand.

Prayer

Jesus, I refuse to hide what You've lit in me. Place my faith on the stand where it belongs, so that everyone who crosses my path can see the light You've put in my life.
